IndieUtility is my growing collection of free online tools for developers, content creators, designers, marketers and small businesses. I focus on practical browser utilities that solve common workflow problems: cleaning messy transcripts, validating JSON, formatting SQL, testing regular expressions, creating SVG backgrounds, generating color palettes, converting images and building CSS effects.
Most tools are designed to run locally in your browser. That means your files, text, code snippets and generated outputs are processed on your own device instead of being uploaded to an application database. I use this local-first approach because it is better for quick development work, client content, internal notes, drafts, configuration files and other material you may not want to send to a third-party server.
My goal is simple: make small tools that open quickly, do one job clearly, and get out of the way. No mandatory account creation, no software installation and no complicated dashboards. Each tool is built as a focused page with its own workflow, controls, examples and copyable or downloadable results.
I try to keep ordinary tool input local whenever possible, reducing unnecessary uploads and storage.
I build around repetitive jobs people already do in editors, spreadsheets, terminals, CMS dashboards and content workflows.
